First Solo Exhibition at BRUNG Gallery

What a night! On 10th October 2024, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Helena Leeners’ first solo exhibition at BRUNG Gallery, and it turned out to be an unforgettable evening filled with art, laughter, and creativity.

From the moment the doors opened, the gallery was buzzing with energy. Leeners’ bold and expressive works, known for their vibrant colors and unique fusion of graphic and rough brushstrokes, captivated everyone who walked through. It was amazing to see her powerful pieces displayed together in one space, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in her world of visual storytelling.

One of the highlights of the evening was the chance to see her newest work, fresh off the easel, which sparked some great discussions. Visitors were intrigued not only by her established pieces but also by how her latest creations continue to evolve. The conversations that flowed between guests were inspiring—discussions about the artworks, interpretations, and the fascinating themes of pop culture and contemporary events embedded in her pieces. These are the kinds of moments that remind us why we love hosting exhibitions like this.

A special thank you goes to Egle and Pasquale from MAE for their motivating conversations during the event. We’re genuinely excited about the platform and can’t wait to explore more of its possibilities. And of course, a big shout-out to Janis, whose beautiful photography has captured the magic of the evening perfectly.

If you weren’t able to make it to the opening, don’t worry! Helena Leeners’ works will be on display for the next two weeks, so there’s still plenty of time to experience her art in person. Plus, we’re offering a limited selection of fine art prints, which Helena has already signed—ready for you to take home.

We’re open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4 to 8 PM, and we can’t wait to welcome more of you to the gallery. Whether you’re a long-time admirer or new to Helena’s work, this exhibition promises to spark your imagination and leave a lasting impression.
