On Friday, November 1st, the gallery buzzed with excitement as friends, neighbors, and both familiar and new faces gathered to celebrate the opening of the BRUNG Cabinet – a dedicated section for furniture sculptures and unique interior objects.
The event kicked off with Katha and Pelle from uncommon ceremoniously cutting the ribbon, officially unveiling the striking window installation that now invites passersby to explore this section of the gallery. uncommon, known for their curated selection, invites everyone to – in their own words: “explore our selection of quality vintage furniture and objects while getting inspired by our space.”
Guests enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by the delicious food provided by Pa Yai, Prak’s aunt. Her cooking was a hit among attendees and added a personal touch to the evening. Pa Yai’s dishes are quickly becoming a cherished tradition at gallery openings, with the hope that she will continue to cater these gatherings in the future.
Looking ahead, the gallery plans to host a diverse array of exhibitions, where art, furniture sculptures, and interior objects will be displayed side by side. The BRUNG Cabinet marks the beginning of a new chapter, bringing together art, design and craftsmanship under one roof.
