BRUNG is an experimental platform for contemporary art based in Berlin.

We create project-based formats that connect artists and audiences through exhibitions, public interventions, conversations and cultural experiences beyond the traditional gallery space.

BRUNG Gallery was founded with a simple question:

Can an art gallery exist without being defined by its walls?

Rather than maintaining a permanent white cube, we operate as a flexible platform that develops projects around artists, places and ideas.

Our goal is not to produce more exhibitions, but to create meaningful encounters between artists and audiences.

Every project begins with a series of questions:

* What makes this format genuinely different?
* How does it create value for artists and visitors?
* Can it be realised sustainably?
* Does it encourage curiosity and dialogue?

By remaining independent and project-based, we can experiment with formats that traditional galleries often cannot.

OUR APPROACH

Art beyond the White Cube

We see the city as an exhibition space.

Art does not need to be confined to gallery walls. It can appear in unexpected places, invite new conversations and reach people who may never intentionally visit an exhibition.

BRUNG Gallery develops temporary projects that blur the boundaries between exhibition, public intervention and cultural experience.

Each project is designed around participation, accessibility and dialogue.
